COMMANDERS MESSAGE --- LARRY SULLIVAN
Hello, all welcome to October happy Halloween to all. We are in the first days of Fall leaves are changing and cooler nights. We had a awesome bus trip to the Tigers game, what a game fun was had by all. Thanks to all that participated and especially to the Bishop’s for the work they provided. The calendar is still open for activities so please submit any request to the House Committee. A reminder we are capped to a $200.00 limit to pay for entertainment at the post.
On a special note, during Detroit Lions Day games 1:00 and 4:00 Sundays I will be selling chili dogs in the Canteen and will work on having 50/50’s on those days also.
The calendar is still open for activities so please submit any request to the House Committee. A reminder we are capped to a $200.00 limit to pay for entertainment at the post. As we move forward, continue supporting the activities we have at the Post. Volunteers are our most precious commodity. The Hall and Kitchen areas are off limits to members and guests when events are not scheduled. I encourage you to lend the Post assistance when needed. Fun fact – October 4 is National Taco and Cinnamon Roll Day, and October is also National Popcorn month. We are looking for a couple of volunteers that can help with Pull Tabs on Mondays and Thursdays If you are interested, please contact Dave Jones at 231-206-1925. To make your voice heard attend our monthly meetings to help make the Post a better place. Thank You
