    JULY NEWSLETTER

COMMANDERS MESSAGE -David Jones-

Here we are now in the month of July. We have added several new members the last few months, which is very good and hopefully this will continue. Thanks to all of our efforts to recruit new members and maintain our current members we have achieved 100% Membership for the second year in a row. As you can see we have several activities planned for the up coming months.  If you can volunteer for any of activities please let the Post know.  Again a Big Thanks to our current volunteers.

Here are some of what is happening at the Post.  The first thing is getting the sewer repaired so we have no more back ups. Once that is done the parking lot will be resealed and new striping will be done.

It has come to my attention that some individuals are chewing tobacco in the Post. This is a form of smoking and is NOT ALLOWED in the Post.

We are looking for some ideas/activities that might be done at the Post.  If you have any ideas please let us know.

The post is also in need of more members who would be interested in being part of the Post Honor Guard.  Please contact either myself or Rod Siegel for more information or interested in joining.

The Post is still in need individuals who would be interested in doing Pull Tabs on Monday or Thursday mornings as fill in as needed.  If interested please contact either Rod Siegel or myself.

PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL
Our Bartenders are here to provide you with an enjoyable experience while you are in the Canteen. It has come to our attention that they are being subjected to disrespect and verbal abuse. Any future reports of disrespect and/or verbal abuse from any Post, Auxiliary Member or guests will be dealt with suspension or termination of privileges.

LAST CALL
When Bartenders give "Last Call", it's "Last Call" for EVERYTHING, including drinks and gaming machines. Those playing gaming machines will need to plan accordingly as they will be expected to cash out before the Bartender locks up. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS.

PLEASE HELP US REMAIN COMPLIANT
Guests are welcome at the Post, but please remember that ONLY MEMBERS OF THE POST CAN PURCHASE ALCOHOL. All guests are required to sign the "Guest Book" upon entering the Canteen. This rule is in compliance with our Liquor License and all Bartenders have been instructed on strict enforcement and will help us maintain compliance with State Regulations.

WELCOME VETERANS BOARDS
